Experience the New Dias Ridge TrailFrom Panoramic Highway, start out at 700 feet and drop down to sea level at Muir Beach with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean for most of the trip while passing over the 25,000 newly planted native plants and grasses. The coastal breezes and early morning fog usually provide great hiking/riding weather most of the year. The reverse trip is more challenging, but parking is available at both ends of the trail. Get the map so you can experience the new full multi-use trail and see the transformation. The 2009 Dias Ridge improvements are made possible by the generosity of the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, California Coastal Conservancy, and the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act
