Lend a Hand at the Ridge Trail Office Help is often needed in the Ridge Trail office, located in the Presidio of San Francisco. Volunteers assist with special projects or general administrative tasks. If you are interested in helping us with this, please fill out the Volunteer form and check "Help staff in the San Francisco office." Lead an Outing Volunteers regularly lead hikes or rides through the San Francisco Watershed on the Fifield-Cahill Ridge Trail. This segment of the Ridge Trail offers stunning panoramic views of the Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the city skylines. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, who manage the property, require docent training for these leaders. Visit their web site here to learn more. If you have any questions, please contact
